Frequently Asked Questions

Will it hurt?

Most patients report brief, tolerable discomfort during Exroid® treatment. Analgesia options are discussed at consultation. For aesthetics, injection sites may sting momentarily; any marks usually fade quickly.

How long is recovery?

Many Exroid® patients return to routine activity the same day. For aesthetics, expect minor swelling/bruising for 24–72 hours, depending on area and skin type.

Can I go back to work right away?

Often yes, particularly with office-based work. Heavy lifting or strenuous exercise may be postponed for 24–48 hours based on clinical advice.

Is anaesthesia required?

Exroid® typically uses topical/local measures; general anaesthesia is not used. Aesthetics procedures use very fine needles; numbing options may be offered where appropriate.

Do I need a GP referral?

No—self-referrals are welcome. We also accept GP referrals where available.

How many treatments will I need?

This varies by grade and symptoms. Your plan—including any follow-up—will be discussed at consultation.

Is Exroid® suitable for everyone?

Not always. If Exroid® isn’t appropriate, you’ll receive guidance on next steps or alternative care pathways.
